'Tis the season...

... for trail building. The local woods have seen an increase in trail building in the last month, I've started new teccy trail, with a few jumps in it, but further along the forest there has been a huge influx of activity including jumps, ladders, teeters, and bridges. For better or worse the "North Shore" style has his the South Shore (this bears no relation the the MBUK article back in 2000 that 'featured' us riding "north shore" on the island, a long story for the grandchildren...) anyway. If it last it lasts, its quite fun, even in the dark in which we rode it today. It seems that we have some new blood in the trail building up the woods, certainly a break from our 'old school' approach to trail building, aka 'singletrack'.

Have to get up and finish mine sometime....
